Pain

How fast would you react, when you start to notice your body part(s) feeling pain? Or maybe how long would you endure the pain before you seek medical help?

In our day to day life, we usually spend more time thinking of the next thing we need to do or settle or clear, before the next task come to us. Life has somehow become a rat race, until some kind of life threatening event happened, that finally shakes us up, well, if it does.
We often forget that our body is not a machine, and unlike other human-made things, it does not come with spare parts or upgrade replacement parts which you can easily get.

How do you think you would react, if one day, you found out that you have over exhausted your body part(s) or you have neglected them, causing unrepairable condition. What would you do next? Of course time can't be reversed, so we can only look forward. Should God give you another chance, how would you make use of that opportunity?

You only live your life once.

congratulations

Attended a wedding today, and am so happy for this lil brother to finally achieve his life-long dream. Taking this chance to welcome him and his lovely wife onto the marriage life bandwagon, and may them enjoy each other companionship for the rest of their lives.
I've actually forgotten that we have known each other for 10 years now, and it seems like just months ago, we were having lunch together with the rest of the gang.

Usually when I attended others' wedding, I always feel nostalgic about my own. But not today. Well, not that I felt bored recalling my own wedding, just that, the me now, view wedding event differently.
Maybe, it has something to do with our age. As we have walked across half of our lifetime, there are things that we may start to think or view differently. Of course, everyone's maturity level is at different level at different time, and this is why each of us is unique.
At today's event, I noticed more on how many kids are there, what are the group age attending, the decorations of the hall, how people are interacting with each other. Usually, I would have been attentive to what music is played, what video and photos are shown.

Anyway, wedding is one of the important events in your lifetime, as it opens up another chapter, another door, in your life. On whether where it will lead you to, you will only know after you walk along the path. It may not be as smooth as you thought it would be, but it may not be as tough as you worried of. Still, once you step on this path, do carry on with courageous heart and good faith with you.

Congratulations again!

Do what you like, like what you do

Most of us are not doing what we like. So, we have to like what we do.

Honestly, how many of you are really doing things that you like. And do you really like all the things you are doing?

In our lives, it is not that we cannot do what we like, sometimes we are caught in the unforeseen circumstances, sometimes we are unwilling to take the extra mile, sometimes we are just afraid of the unknown risk.
We are taught since young, to becareful in things we do. Careful of what? Careful of risk, careful of the unknown, careful of danger. This somehow may be misinterpreted as by staying within the comfort zone.
As we grow older, we are taught of getting out of comfort zone, no pain no gain, higher risk higher return.
Now, isn't it contradicting?

So, end up sometimes we have to like what we are doing, in order not to get frustrated in the things we are doing. Hoping to stay sane.
Of course, not all things are loveable - like messy rooms, dirty laundry, pest infested washroom, crying baby. Those are things which are the parts amd parcels of life that we need to go through, which we may not like but can come to like.
Therefore, having to say to like what you do, is not just as a comforting word. It's just part of reality.

All the best to everyone. For those who are doing what you like, good for you. While for those who are not, do like what you are doing and enjoy life as it goes by.
