As a child, our life is just to eat, sleep and play. Nothing to worry, nothing to frown upon.
As a teenager, our aim is to grow up and be able to do what we want to do. So, we go to school as instructed, and try to be scored as lectured.
As a working adult, we are trapped in the rat race with others, trying to earn as much as possible, trying to live as comfortable as possible.
As a parent, our focus is on the next generation, hoping they'll do better than us, trying to provide the best for them.
As an aging folk, we know life is drawing near, thus we'll try to pursue what we had not achieved, or maybe waiting for the time to come.
This is a vicious cycle.
No doubt, this is what most of the people would or might have gone thru. May not applies to all, but i believed majority would have agree so.
We may not be able to live like those monks or sisters, where they had the calling from God.
For the rest, we would then need to live our life in a more meaningful manner. We may not be able to escape the rat race of human life, nevertheless, there are still ways to live better. We should life an interesting and meaningful life, so that when we look back the years that passes, we will not live in vain.
Life is about sharing and giving. To share the joy and spread the love to others. Though it may sounds simple but not everyone knows how to do it. There are things in life we may have taken granted for, so now is the time to really appreaciate what we have and also to pass the love we have, no matter how little, or how small it may be.
Love. This 4 letter word, although it is just a short word, but the meaning of it can be so vast and wide. Learn to love and be loved.
