In school, we used to have poetry lessons now and then. Hmm, but come to think of it, the poetry lessons we had are mostly for Malay classes, not much for English, except the reading part.

Suddenly have the urge to try my hands on poetry. Well, hope it rhymes.


How much do you need me?
You don't seem to need me for anything
Not for company, Not for supporting

People said that lovers need each other
But how much do you need me?
Do you really ever needed me?

I know I need you, everywhere around me
I need you as my companion
I need you as my supporter

But how much do you need me?
Do you really ever needed me?
The way as I needed you?

You lived in a world of your own
Where needs means dependents
Where dependents means burdens

So how much do you need me?
Do you really ever needed me?
Or am I just the one that needed you?
