Life is like a marathon race.
Our life journey is just like a marathon race, where we are given a period of time limit and race route to complete. Along the race, stalls of refreshment are prepared for the runners, as if pit stops in life where we can take a breather amidst the rushing life.
Along the race, you may see some started eagerly while some may started off slowly. Some may picked up their speed along the way, some prefer to maintain their speed, while some seem to slow down.
Some just had their aim set at the finishing line and give full focus on it. Some had the mind of enjoying the scenery of the route without neglecting the race time limit while some may have lose track of time due to the wonderful scenery around them. There are also some who might have given up midway of the race and decided stop and wait for help to come along the way.
These are actually quite similar to what's happening in our life. We all started off our life with designated destiny. But what makes it different is how we decided to spend our lifetime.
Whether to run through it with full force and end up not knowing what's happening around us, or to give up in life when things are not going the way we wanted. Or instead, to enjoy our life but not forgetting the ultimate aim in life.
All these are options which we can choose and the choice is ours.
We may not have the same racing route and we may not have the same time limit.
We may not have the same running pace and we may not has the same stamina.
But we can give our best to reach out for our finishing line within our given time, while not forgetting to care about those around us that are running their race as well.
It is a great feeling when others boosted for you along the way. Do the same for others, too.
You may not know, a single word of encouragement may mean a world to others.

second chance
Do you at times, wished that you were given a second chance? Another chance to make a better choice, or another chance to remedy the previous choice made.
You might not have noticed, but there are times, indeed, that you are actually being given another chance. Maybe not in a direct way, but in another form
or after a period of time, that this second chance was given. Fate may love to play a trick on us some times, but it does help us some times, too, by given
us a second chance. It might not be easy though, to recognize it at the very first glance.
So, if you were given a second chance, what and how would you do, to better appreciate the chance given?

back to reality
Four days of escaping from reality, far away from the usual hustle and bustle of life. But now, am back to the very same spot, before the escape gateway.
The days of not having to bother with the routine lifestyle or not having the need to think of the usual worries in life, were just great. It was as if living for the day. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift.
Having to step back out from reality, sometimes allow us to untangle our confusing mind. Mind that, at times, got too caught up in the rat race, that we failed to appreaciate what life really is about. And to be able to step back into reality after a breakaway, will allow us to reconsider our priorities in life.
Of course, not everything is good or as smooth as what we thought ought to be. But at least with the right thinking and the right mindset, somehow or someway, things are going to work out anyway. We need to have this kind of optimization spirit in life!
