after dinner talk

Had a long after-dinner-chat today. It is actually quite a norm thing to do, but today it's with a special group of people.

It's actually the first time I had dinner with teacher, of course, with KN and LC together. However, it's not a foursome dinner. It's kind of having dinner with her family and relatives together. And what's so different bout the dinner is that you don't feel out of place, even though it's like practically eating with strangers. Or it's just fun sometimes to eat with elders, while listening to their chit chat and stories.

Well, the after dinner chat, of course, falls within the four of us and her son. Surprisingly, many topics were touched on, broad range of it. It's really nice to hear what people had to share, as we can't really experience everything in life as an individual alone. It's through all these sharings that we can learn a trick or two in life.

Five wishes
It was told to the 5 person, that whoever make the best wish, will get the prize. So, the first person said, "I want sweet". The second person, thinking to make a better wish said, "I want a sweet factory". The third person not wanted to be out-beaten said, "I want a sweet factory and an ice-cream factory". The fourth person, cracking his head, said, "I want a sweet factory, an ice-cream factory and 3 wishes", with that, he can make endless of wishes.
As for the fifth person, what do you his wish is?
He wished, "I do not want any wish."
It's because, without any wish, he won't need to keep attaining the wish. It's as if you will never feel contended with what you have and keep on wishing.
In my point of view, or rather my interpretation to this is, sometimes, when we wanted something, is it really that we want it because it does bring values to our lives. Or we want it simply because others have it and we just want to seem to be better than them?

Four types of people
Fox - type of people that loves fun and new things, and loves to seek new challenges
Beaver - type of people that are family bounded, and need to have security in life
Owl - type of people that seek in-depth knowledge and wants to know more in details
Dolphin - type of people that have go-green and charity nature
It'll be easier to tackle or to click with people, knowing what type of group they belong to.

Work - our current culture teaches us not to question the decision made by the elders. Thus, in work, the same thing applies, and we have not thought of challenging what's right in our sense. However, we need to also have the right attitude.

Monetary value - am I rich? monetary value is different from one or another, as everyone has different financial needs in life. But, to be able to not cling too much on the monetary surface value, somehow, in time of needs, they will flow in, in a way or another.

Religion - to have a religion, sometimes, it helps to shape up a person's point of view of what is right or wrong. Of course, we are not saying about the extremist. But religion does somehow provides a guide and as a support.

Family - staying with family throughout your life or having a chance to stay away from your family, somehow does have a bit of impact to your way of thinking and reliability towards the family.

Relationship - most of the times, it's opposite attracts. It may sound corny, but it's true, although it might not applies to all. To maintain a healthy relationship, you'll need to love yourself. To love yourself then only love others, this way you won't feel you are the giving end, instead, you'll feel like sharing your love to others.

stepping into june

So fast and we are stepping into the month of June now.
And I must admit that a lot of things are happening this year, a lot of unplanned things. Some are not that good though.

Suddenly, I feel kinda nervous. Feeling unease.

There are still a lot of things to be done this year. Things that were planned out along the way. Hope that they can be completed without any hitch. Well, things happened unexpectedly but at least, hope it won't be any major hitch.
