down

If things are down and glum, what would you do?
Why not wake up from it?

Life is all about choices. If things are really looking gloomy, why not step out of it and go under the sunshine? You can choose either to continue to mourn over it or just simply get over it.

Of course things said are easier than be done. Yet, if you have the will, there will be a way. Never say never. 'Cos you wouldn't know without trying.

Nobody borned with full of knowledge and vast experiences. Knowledge are to be learned, while experience are to be gained. (Well, we are not talking about old souls here, of course)

Take things one at a time. Never rush into things mindlessly, as you might just end up repeating it over and over again until you get it right. You got to learn to walk before you learn to run.

Life is a cycle, just like karma. What goes around, comes around. If there are things you should faced, then no matter how hard you try to hide, you are bound to go over it, so why fret over it?

passion

Passion. I have came across the word a few times today within an hour of reading the papers. Well, what is passion? Passion can be said to be a strong emotion, generally, either love or hate. But there is another meaning, which is boundless enthusiasm.

What drives someone to succeed in life? Hardwork? Social network? Well, these do play some parts, but I think the core is passion. Without passion in what one does, one would have easily given up when facing the brick walls. Without passion, everything that you do would seems to be mechanical and meaningless.

So, what ever you do, you need to have the passion for it, else look for something that you have passion for. It is not just things like your career but even the small little things in your daily life. That would truly be living your life to the fullest. Don't let your passion drown because of the passing time.

What is life without the passion of living?

maze

People say that life is a journey, I think that life seems to be like a maze, where you need to keep on walking and walking, turning corners after corners, until you get on the correct path, then you are able to find your way out.

There are times when, maybe you haven't realised that, you have been doing the same thing again and again. And until you get it right, you have to keep on repeating that. And only after you get the thing right, then you can be "leveled up". Sounds like playing in a game, where you have to keep repeating the same thing until you get all right then only can go to the next level.

Someone had mentioned that in game itself, it has given us a lot of knowledge to use in real life. Yet, when people are so good in playing games, don't seem to know how to apply the same rule in real life. Why is it so hard?

la melancolía

Español: La principal causa de la melancolía es el ocio; no hay mejor remedio que la actividad Robert Burton

English: The main cause of melancholy is idleness; there is no better remedy than activity. This is very true, have you ever notice how if you are feeling down some exercise can be just the cure.

yiruma

Have you heard of Yiruma? A Korean pianist that is well-known internationally and his few famous pieces - Kiss of Rain, River Flows in You. I had some how stumbled across this famous figure when I was asked to search for his songs. His soothing, deep-meaning songs stir up a lot of emotions, I must admit.

five senses

Five senses that we mostly have - eyes to see, ears to listen, tongue to taste, nose to smell and skin to touch.
I wondered why we do not add in another two - mind to think and heart to feel?

Ain't it true, that most of us, humans, don't really use the basic five senses that we have. Instead we seem to use the mind the most. But one thing about mind is that it can be or might be deceptive. As for the heart, that some may use, tends to be bias, too.
So, what do we end up with?

Well, not all is doom and gloom. If only we use all seven senses that we have, I guess, wouldn't we have a better perspective of how things really are?
See - look at things not only by its appearance itself but also its surroundings
Listen - hear not only from the main source but also from other various sources
Taste - might not be applicable to all situations but everything do have a unique individual taste
Smell - might not be applicable to all situations but everything also have its own distiguished smell
Touch - might not be applicable to all situations but everthing have different textures
Think - consider not only the past but present and future; not only cons but pros
Feel - sense it but don't be clouded by own emotions
